RAF Personnel Records.
Records of Service of RAF personnel who joined after 1 April 1918 are split. Some remain in the TNA. Those with Service Numbers in the range 1-329000 who continued to serve after the end of the War and those with Service numbers higher that 329000 are retained by the RAF.

Air of Authority. A History of RAF Organisation. - Superb and comprehensive resource.
British and Commonwealth Air Unit Register. - First class site with full list of all RAF Base, Squadron Veterans Associations
RAF Museum Hendon and Cosford. - Superb collections of aircraft and RAF memorabilia and also have extensive archives
Royal Air Force. - The web site of the RAF. Good historical background information. Excellent
Public Records Office.- Hold a huge archive of RAF Squadron, Station and general WW2 records. Unique.
Virtual War Memorial Australia - Another excellent resource with a superb on line photo collection.
Library and Archives of Canada.- Hold a huge archive of RCAF personnel and squadron records. Very helpful.

Auckland War Memorial Museum Online Cenotaph - Another excellent resource with a superb on line photo collection.
RAF Fiskerton - A brief study of an old Bomber Command airfield in Lincolnshire.
